Evandro Schiavone began his drawing studies at the age of 12 in 1996 with Professor Henrique (Salto/SP). From 1997 to 2002, he attended a drawing and painting course with Professor Emip. In parallel, in search of new knowledge, he took courses with Professor Célia Marcassa from Sorocaba and attended Art History workshops. Since then, he has been teaching classes in his studio, workshops, and short courses at education congresses and workshops across Brazil.
He began painting professionally at the age of 17. His art, which transforms oil colors into sensations and feelings, has illustrated dozens of literary works and more than twenty educational and art dissemination magazines. In 2010, he was awarded the Mapa Cultural Paulista prize in the Visual Arts category. He began his international career with a traveling exhibition on the Opera ship, visiting cities in South America, and participated for two consecutive years in the SNBA Art Salon at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
His unmistakable style blends shapes, symbols, light, shadow, reflections, and transparencies, creating sophisticated and relaxed compositions that merge realism and fantasy, often with a touch of subtle humor.
Highlight of his carreer was the invitation to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in San Francisco in December 2024 sfmoma.org
